Description
In Australia, the Aboriginal people have been using the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree for a very long time, obtaining, through a distillation process, an oil with antiseptic and totally natural properties.
This oil has come down to us today, offering us the same properties, with such diverse applications as preventing and treating lice and nits, athlete’s foot, ingrown nails, dandruff, itching and insect bites, among others.
USES:
– Lice, Nits and Dandruff: Apply 4 or 5 drops of tea tree oil to different points on the scalp or directly in the shampoo, avoiding contact with eyes.
– Athlete’s Foot and Ingrown Nails: Immerse feet in hot or warm water for 20 minutes and add 4 or 5 drops of tea tree oil.
– Itching and Insect Bites: Apply one drop of tea tree oil over each eruption or bite.
